Our public sector client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to analyze business systems and processes, for enhancements on a Business and Technical Transformation
Hybrid (2 days a week), Vancouver, 12-month contract, 37.5hrs
Must Have :
- 7+ years experience as a Business Analyst
- Demonstrated practice of the Systems Development Life Cycle and Agile, Scrum project management methodology.
- Demonstrated practice of business process streamlining and re-engineering. Ability to analyze system / operational problems and recommend innovative solutions.
- Exceptional ability to build compelling business cases, conduct strategic analysis such as cost / benefit and impact analysis, and manage RFP process and other critical business analysis skills.
Nice to Have :
- CSM, CSPO, Lean, and / or Six Sigma certifications
- Experience working with Microsoft CRM and / or Microsoft Business Central products
- Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform
- Experience working with a health regulator
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate and document current business systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with business and IT leaders to elicit, document, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Evaluate proposed solutions against business requirements, assess feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals, and support testing processes.
- Define Business Analyst deliverables, provide BA plans, and support project management throughout the software development life cycle.
