Job Description :

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Law Clerk specializing in Family and Real Estate Law to join our team.

The ideal candidate will assist in managing a diverse caseload, prepare legal documents, and support our lawyers in delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in the preparation and management of legal documents related to Family Law matters, including divorce, separation, custody agreements, and spousal support.
  • Draft, review, and process real estate transaction documents, including agreements of purchase and sale, mortgages, and title transfers.
  • Conduct legal research, gather relevant information, and prepare briefs for lawyer review.
  • Liaise with clients, real estate agents, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth case management.
  • Maintain organized client files, monitor case timelines, and provide regular updates to clients.
  • Schedule and manage appointments, meetings, and court dates for lawyers.

Requirements :

  • Law Clerk diploma or equivalent education, with relevant experience in Family and Real Estate Law.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a law clerk role, preferably within a Family and / or Real Estate Law environment.
  • Proficiency in legal software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of Family and Real Estate Law procedures and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive client matters with discretion.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
