Leveraging their deep expertise, the Senior Learning Content Manager will be a trusted advisor to customers, providing comprehensive guidance and support to optimize their learning and communication strategies.

This role will collaborate closely with Learning Content Managers, Implementation Managers, and customers to design, develop, and implement impactful learning and communication solutions.

The ideal candidate will leverage their deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and Axonify products and services to conduct thorough needs assessments, craft engaging content, and measure the effectiveness of training and communication initiatives.

They will be instrumental in empowering customers to achieve their desired outcomes and maximize the value of their investment.

The impact you'll have :

Build strong relationships with customers, act as a strong advisor to understand their unique needs, challenges, and desired outcomes.

Collaborate with them to identify learning and communications objectives and design effective solutions that address their specific goals.

Conduct in-depth needs assessments to identify skill gaps, performance deficiencies, and learning opportunities across the organization.

Analyze data to inform the development of targeted solutions.

  • Review source material and conduct additional research to gain a thorough understanding of the subject matter and ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop strategic learning plans that align with their business goals and address identified needs.

Partner with strategic (premium) customers to conduct comprehensive content reviews and gap analyses, as well as to strategize and identify future training requirements.

  • Provide expert recommendations on learning and communication strategies, content development, and delivery methods, following Axonify and adult learning principle best practices.
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to create engaging and effective learning experiences that drive learner engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Create and design high-quality, relevant content that aligns with learning and communication objectives and resonates with learners.

This may include videos, interactive modules, job aids, assessments, announcements, and more.

  • Conduct thorough reviews of client and peer content, including training plans, storyboards, and modules, to ensure they adhere to Axonify's best practices.
  • Analyze learning data and gather feedback to identify opportunities for improvement in learning content, delivery methods, and overall learning strategy.
  • Manage large strategic (premium) projects, taking full ownership of content development, setting realistic expectations with customers, and delivering all assets on time and within budget.
  • Lead by example and act as a mentor to other team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to develop their skills and foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Design, develop, and facilitate presentations and workshops as needed to guide customers or partners through Axonify's best practices for content development, ensuring a deep understanding of platform capabilities.
  • Deliver engaging presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits of our learning approach and demonstrating how we can help address their specific needs.
  • Champion cross-functional internal stakeholder relationships with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the sales / renewal cycle.

What you'll bring :

Post-secondary degree preferably with a specialization in English, Education, Adult Education, Instructional Design or a related discipline.

Technical writing designations or related qualifications are considered an asset.

  • 5-6+ years of experience in instructional design, learning strategy development, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in customer-facing roles.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills (writing, editing, facilitating).
  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and current trends in learning and development.
  • Expertise in needs assessment, strategic planning, and learning solution implementation.
  • Strong ability to build rapport and trust with customers by confidently positioning themselves as an expert with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Exceptional consulting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Experience conducting needs assessments, gap analyses, and learning strategies to determine the learning need.
  • Experience creating a variety of learning and communication assets.
  • Familiarity with tailoring learning recommendations to suit different target audiences.
