About the role
We are looking for a Business advisor to join our growing Operational Excellence and Projects team. Reporting directly to the Manager Operational Excellence and Projects, he / she will have a significant impact on process improvements for Direct Distribution.
You will be expected to collaborate with various business units and will be responsible for discovering, defining, analyzing and implementing solutions for transforming processes.
In addition, you will have the chance to present the result of your work to senior members of the management team.
Our operational excellence initiatives are divided into three major areas :
- The redesign and innovation of the operating model,
- Improvement and automation of business processes,
- The continued efficiency of our processes.

What you'll accomplish with us :
Take on an advisory role and generate initiatives that drive organizational effectiveness
- Carrying out diagnostics and formulating operational and technological recommendations ;
- Continuous process improvement;
- Analyze and measure the efficiency of processes;
- Define and share best practices;
- Implement and control;
- Assume an advisory role and implement the project management methodology;
- Coordinate the realization of the case analysis with the different teams involved (budget, costs, risks and stakeholders);
- Develop the governance structure;
- Plan and coordinate activities and resources;
- Develop and monitor the risk mitigation plan;
- Monitor project timelines and progress;
- Build, control and monitor project indicators;
What you'll put to good use :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years of experience in operational efficiency projects with multidisciplinary and national teams;
- Very good expertise in Excel, Word and Power Point office software;
- Knowledge of analytical methodology (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) (Asset)
- Analytical and synthesis skills; mathematical mind;
- Very good communication and oral and written presentation skills;
- Ability to listen;
- Autonomy and initiative;
- Concern for quality of service;
- Organizational skills;
- Tact and diplomacy;
- Ability to work in a team
- Bilingualism; French- English; for candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country
- No Canadian work experience required, but need to have authorization to work in Canada.
