Position : Bakery Manager
Full-time : 40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
Availability : Weekdays and weekends- Early mornings (3 : 00 am start) and afternoons and evenings (up to 10 : 00pm).
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the overall operations of the bakery department,
- Ensure adherence to the departmental budget,
- Oversee inventory control, ordering and receiving for the department,
- Ensure the bakery department is appropriately merchandised including tagging and pricing accuracy,
- Maintain excellent customer service by tracking, monitoring and following up with customer concerns,
- Participate in recruitment, training, development and performance management of all team members in the department,
- Ensure proper preparation of promotions and displays are completed,
- Provide strong leadership and support to team members within the department.
Qualifications :
- Grade 12 or an acceptable combination of education and experience,
- Three (3) years retail supervisory experience,
- Business related education would be an asset,
- Experience in managing business initiatives including analysis of financial results,
- Previous experience in leading a bakery department is considered an asset.
