Skills and Responsibilities :

• Extensive hands-on experience and advanced knowledge of Telecom Wireline domain.
• In-depth knowledge of FTTX, Spatial net, Maps.
• Strong aptitude for research, data analysis and trend development.
• Ability of self-initiation and work with the team effectively with minimal supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Review the project scope for high level planning as defined Network team.
• Evaluate the existing homes passed per port or homes passed per tech. Depending on Service Level and Product requirements that may apply (for example, urban vs rural areas).
• Check feasibility of splitting the node.
• Create the design plan document with clear service boundary, number of home pass, PNI Data along with the project brief.
• Analyze the network and validate the overall loss based on the tap location, amplifier placement and other splicing details
• Validate the field data aligning with High Level design and send it back to the field survey partner for clarification, if any, required.
• Creation of Low-level design and fiber work splice packages.
• Coordinate and provide support, information and project details as requested by various departments.
• Check the design pack and validate all the necessary documents and let the team know, for missing documents in any.
• Track design commitment dates, project progress, schedules and timelines and update on a regular basis.
• Update the Status Roll Plan on a regular basis, updating anticipated design duration schedule, permit numbers and authorities, contact and other project related information and document all QC information for all technical documents, to make sure most up to date standards are followed and adhered too.
