Job Summary

We areseeking a Lead well intervention engineer to join the JRAKUnconventional Production Engineering Division UPED of wellcompletion Operations and Production Engineering DepartmentWCO&PED.

JRAK UPED is responsible forproviding required production engineering support for Jafurahunconventional field development the support includes multistagehydraulic fracture design design production optimization wellcompletion design and artificial lift in addition to day to dayengineering and operations support for field riglessactivities.

The Lead well intervention engineerprimary role is to provide required support for rigless wellintervention operations (wireline coiled tubing snubbing) includingbut not limited to plug and perf frac operations post frac wellborecoiled tubing cleanout through tubing fishing and millingoperations wireline well and reservoir surveillance operations wellintegrity survey and wellhead maintenance.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Responsible for planning well surveillance activities andreviewing and validating them upon completion.
• Provide solutions for wells with integrity issues withthe support of well completion specialists.
• Possess extensive knowledge of industry regulationssafety practices and standards related to surface and downholeequipment selection.
• Experienced in optimizingsurface well intervention operations using the latest newtechnologies and best practices.
• Supportroutine well completion operations and provide assistance whenproblems occur.

Requirements :

• Willingness to relocate toDhahran Saudi Arabia.
• Hold aBachelors degree in mechanical or petroleum engineering from arecognized and approved program.
• Possess 1520years of experience in rigless well intervention operations designplanning and execution including at least 10 years in HPHT criticalsour gas and unconventional operational environments.
• Have experience in unconventional resources or HPHT / tightgas & oil wells with a good understanding of hydraulicfracturing and its impact on well completion.
• Demonstrate a proven record in running all interventionoperations required in unconventional wells including completiondesign tubing movements coiled tubing wireline slick line hydraulicfracturing flowback and the ability to issue a complete detailedprogram for each type of operation.
• Befamiliar with wellhead and downhole completion design optimizationand troubleshooting.
• Have proven records andexperience in well surveillance activities for unconventionalwells.
• Capable of providing solutions toenhance well intervention operation cost and safety.
• Able to conduct investigations when issues occur andfinalize root cause analysis.
