Primary Duties & responsibilities

Overall day to day coordination and support with the responsibilities in specific areas listed below :

  • Electronic and mechanical assembly
  • Maintain radar unit documentation
  • Control the use of parts by work order
  • Carry out tests on certain assemblies
  • Monitor and schedule equipment for calibration
  • Participate in lean manufacturing implementation ( 5S and other projects)
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • College diploma, DEP in Electronics or experience in electronic assembly
  • 1 year of experience in an electronic manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Experience in a small business environment is an asset
  • Bilingual- verbal and written communication skills in French and English language is an asset
  • Working knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsabilités :

Coordination et soutien au jour le jour avec des responsabilités dans les domaines spécifiques énumérés ci-dessous :

  • Effectuer de l’assemblage mécanique et électronique (radar)
  • Garder à jour la documentation des produits
  • Contrôler l’utilisation des pièces par work order
  • Effectuer des tests sur certains assemblés
  • Participer à l’amélioration continue (5S et autres projets)
  • Suivi de la calibration des équipements
  • Toute autre tâche au besoin

Exigences

  • Diplôme d’Études Collégiales en Électronique ou expérience en assemblage électronique
  • 1 année d’expérience dans un environnement de fabrication électronique
  • Être multi-tâches et désir de s’impliquer dans l’entreprise
  • Expérience en petite entreprise est un atout
  • Être bilingue français et anglais, écrit et oral est un atout
  • Connaissance pratique de la suite MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

This position requires access to export-controlled information or items (i.e. regulated technology or technical data per ITAR / EAR US regulations).

Applicants must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

Eligible to be certified to examine, possess, and transfer items under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and legally authorized to work in Canada
