Overview : We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our dedicated team. This role is integral to maintaining our industrial facilities and ensuring the efficient operation of all electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
• Instruct and mentor apprentices in electrical practices and safety.
• Maintain, repair, test, and install switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.
• Troubleshoot and maintain industrial electrical and electronic control systems, including motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic / pneumatic control systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep detailed maintenance records.
• Interpret electrical code specifications and read blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical installations.
• Maintain inventory of stored materials and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications :

• Education : Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
• Experience : 2 to 3 years in a similar role.
• Certifications : Industrial Electrician Trade Certification.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to distinguish between colors and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and efficient interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Flexibility, sound judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively as a team player.

Work Conditions :

• Physically demanding with the ability to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
• Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
• Overtime required.
