What We’re Looking For
The HR Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department. Working directly with the HR Manager this position is responsible for coordinating HR activities, facilitating recruitment processes, and ensuring smooth operations within the HR department.
Duties Include
- Assist in the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Support onboarding processes, including preparing new hire documentation and conducting orientation sessions.
- Coordinate training and development programs, tracking participation and outcomes.
- Support various employee engagement activities and initiatives
- Post job openings on internal and external job boards.
- Manage the application process, including screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating interviews with hiring teams.
- Facilitate the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and managing candidate communications.
- Maintain recruitment metrics and prepare regular reports on recruitment activities and outcomes.
- Prepare and maintain HR-related documentation, reports, and records.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Ensure compliance with legal and company requirements for all HR and recruitment activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees and candidates, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
You Have
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Post Secondary HR related Degree / Diploma or equivalent HR related experience
- Proven experience in HR coordination and recruitment, ideally in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employment standards, and recruitment processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software (e.g., HRIS, ATS).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
