We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Automobile Technician to join our team at a reputable automotive service center in Canada.
As an Automobile Technician, you will play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles, ensuring they operate at optimal performance levels and meet safety standards.
Responsibilities :
Vehicle Diagnostics : Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
Repairs and Maintenance : Perform necessary repairs, adjustments, and maintenance tasks on vehicles, including engine repairs, brake system servicing, electrical system repairs, and more.
Vehicle Inspections : Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their overall condition and identify potential issues that require attention.
Parts Replacement : Replace faulty or worn-out parts with new ones, ensuring the use of genuine parts and following manufacturer guidelines.
Routine Servicing : Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations.
Electrical Systems : Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and electronic components.
Brake and Suspension Systems : Inspect, repair, and replace brake and suspension components to ensure vehicle safety and handling.
Record Keeping : Maintain detailed records of all vehicle repairs, services performed, and parts used.
Customer Service : Interact with customers, addressing their inquiries, explaining repair recommendations, and providing excellent customer service.
Safety and Compliance : Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards, ensuring all work is performed in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications and Experience :
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Formal technical training or certification in automotive technology is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Automobile Technician, with a solid understanding of vehicle mechanics and electrical systems.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality of workmanship.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
