RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produces ultrasonic recordings and Dopplerflow analyses of heart and related structures for use by Physiciansin the diagnosis and study of heartdisease.Responsibilities
- Performstransthoracic echocardiogram (TTE) exams. Documents and maintainspatient and test data.
- Manages time andworkload fluctuations.
- Assesses patients andadapts to changing clinical situations.
- Completes billing for tests performed.
- Utilizes and maintains departmental and hospitalequipment.
- Takes ownership and responsibilityfor individual performance.
- Performs otherduties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION
Experience :
At least one (1) year ofexperience in Cardiac Ultrasonography is required.
Education : Two years offormal training or education beyond the high school level inCardiac Ultrasonography.
CertificationRegistration and Licensure :
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support forHealthcare Providers certification.
- AmericanRegistry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) orCardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) registry followingIntersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) guidelines.
- NH State licensure for Medical Imaging and RadiationTherapy is required.
EMRSystem : Cerner experience preferred
Shift : 40 hours / week four 10hour shiftsor five 8hour shifts MF schedule with occasional weekendsrequired.
