General Accountant
About Our Client :
Our client is seeking a professional General Accountant with a minimum of 2-3 years' related work experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage transactions and review A / P and A / R
- Submit journal entries to the financial database
- Record monthly accruals and adjustments review variance analysis
- Perform month end, quarter and year end closing activities and communicate with internal departments and our external partners
- Manage both monthly bank reconciliation and GL
- Understand standard regulations and reporting needs
- Support with annual financial auditing, provide audit samples, and documents
- Support with ad-hoc tasks as required
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education with enrollment in a professional accounting program
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn quickly
- Detail oriented, professional and organized
- Excellent communication skills- both oral and written
- Strong background working NetSuite by Oracle (asset)
