ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Business Analytics Analyst, you'll be pivotal in improving business processes and services through data analysis. Your responsibilities will span from market analysis to developing savings proposals and equipment performance trending that will identify opportunities and data-driven solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze the financial performance of equipment in the program and recommend service solutions.
- Develop and deliver accurate, timely, insightful business reports that calculate profit / loss on sales, service and marketing activities.
- Conduct regular meetings with key users to review existing reports and business needs, assess gaps, identify data issues, and identify areas for improvement.
- Create and manage dynamic scorecards and dashboards.
- Analyze and recommend service solutions based on equipment performance metrics.
- Analyze new equipment areas for business expansion possibilities.
- Craft savings proposals that support the sales team.
Requirements
WHAT DOES THE IDEAL CANDIDATE OFFER
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, computer science, probability, or business administration.
WORK EXPERIENCE & ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- 3+ years of experience in the medical device industry is preferred.
- Experience designing and developing data analytic solutions and an exceptional analytical background.
- Experience working with senior management decision-makers.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Proficiency in SQL, CRM, business objects, and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Good working knowledge of Power BI (or equivalent).
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to conduct cost / benefit analysis.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for using modelling techniques and methods to drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to determine downstream effects of process changes.
- Knowledge of medical equipment would be beneficial.
