Job Summary : The Senior Information Security Specialist will plan security measures to protect the Company’s environment.

The Senior Specialist will identify opportunities to improve security posture in collaboration with other security team members and business units.

The Senior Specialist will lead on security-related projects and technologies and ensure the effective implementation and management of security tools as we continue to improve information security at Martinrea.

The Senior Specialist will be responsible for providing daily support and on-call rotation.

Required Education and Experience :

  • BS Degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of working experience in support of a large-scale, mission-critical enterprise security infrastructure.
  • In-depth understanding of Cyber Threat Intelligence concepts.
  • Knowledge and understanding of current security threats, common vulnerabilities and exploits, malware, attack paths, threat actor groups, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with MS O365, Azure security, Sentinel, Intune, Defender, and DLP are required.
  • Hands on experience in McAfee, Trend Micro, Rapid7, CrowdStrike, and CyberArk.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanner tools (such as Rapid7 MVM, Qualys, and Nessus).
  • Extensive work experience in email security.
  • In-depth knowledge of SMTP, SSL / TSL and cryptography.
  • Knowledge of SSO methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in core IT and security, infrastructure, AD, DNS, DHCP, and SIEM.
  • Knowledge of security industry standards and certification frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI, HIPPA, etc.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and PowerShell.
  • Analysing requirements for security tools and technology (SIEM, Endpoint Protection, Vulnerability Management, DLP, etc.).
  • Knowledgeable in risk assessment frameworks, threat mitigation strategies, vulnerability management, active threat monitoring, audit, and compliance.
  • Preferred to have : CISSP.
