Director, project management for integrate systems implementation

As a Director, project management for integrate systems implemantation at Pomerleau Construction, you will lead our integrated management systems start-up teams across several major projects.

Working on large-scale construction projects - ranging form $ million to upwards of $1 billion primarily in the design-build arena, you will have a deep understanding of the implementation, operation and support of tailored project management systems.

What you will do

• Lead, guide and mentor start-up teams dedicated to initiating major construction projects.
• Coordinate the schedules and quality of deliverables of several projects simultaneously, ensuring that each achieves its objectives.
• Provide guidance to other project managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Collaborate with IT and construction teams to customize and integrate systems according to project needs.
• Following implementation of the integrated management system, provide support if issues or problems arise.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes and systems.
• Engage stakeholders, including customers, contractors and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project objectives.
• Promptly address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders.
• Ensure that project deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies, ensuring project success.

This role could be for you if you have

• An educational background in construction engineering, business administration or related field.
• A minimum 10 years of project management experience in the construction industry, with a focus on design-build projects.
• A proven experience in the implementation and operation of project management systems.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English.
• An ability to lead and influence teams on multiple projects simultaneously.
• A flexibility to be as mobile as required (project visits and project offices, mainly in the greater Montreal area).

Additional Asset Include :

A PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from PMI.
