Job Description
Company : A restaurant in Sarnia is looking for :
Part-time : 20 hours / week, flexible availability including evenings and weekends
Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Financial Management and Bookkeeping :
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries using QuickBooks Online.
- Reconcile bank statements and POS machine balances.
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
2. Inventory Management :
- Monitor and manage inventory levels.
- Conduct regular inventory audits.
3. Payroll and HR Support :
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain employee records.
- Support HR tasks such as WHMIS training and compliance.
4. Administrative Support :
Provide clerical support and assist with administrative tasks related to business operations.
Education and Experience :
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field is required.
- 1-2 years of work experience in a similar role in the food industry.
Skills :
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Note : This position require flexible schedules such as starting and finishing the day late and availability in the evenings and weekends.
