A manufacturing company in the Ville Sainte-Catherine area is seeking a Health and Safety Supervisor to join their team! In this role, you will be involved in various projects related to HSE and ensure its daily compliance by establishing policies and procedures!

Responsibilities :
- Supervise the work of the health and safety advisor
- Collaborate with supervisors and managers to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Monitor health and safety performance, produce reports
- Identify and control risks related to possible workplace accidents
- Train employees, provide ongoing training and training for new employees related to HSE
- Establish policies and procedures related to occupational health and safety
- Participate in HSE meetings and committees
- Participate in management meetings
- Act as a prevention engine in HSE matters
- Monitor budgets and produce KPIs
Qualifications :
- Have at least 8 years of experience in the field of occupational health and safety (HSE) or human resources
- Have experience in managing HSE teams
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Have a university education related to the position
- Have functional bilingualism, to participate in national internal meetings
- Have experience in a manufacturing environment and heavy industry
