Description de posteEnsure all safety rules and legislation are being practiced. Build relationships and teamwork. Directs hourly personnel and manufacturing operations Provide technical leadership to shift personnel, to include : line setup / operation, metrics definition / reporting, testing, troubleshooting, and training facilitation Maintain a clean and safe work environment specifically oversees the safety within the production area Delegate responsibility and recognize, develop, train and utilize talents and capabilities of all shift personnel Facilitate safety training and complete all incident investigations and reporting Production Reporting Represents production in company meetings Any additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Production Superintendent. Must have a minimum of 5 years of PVC extrusion manufacturing experience Must have a positive work history with regards to attendance, safety and job performance Strong interpersonal, communication, administrative and leadership skills are required Willing to train the right person Dynamic individual Proficient with Microsoft office products such as Word & Excel Safety Centered Results Driven Accountable Highly motivated Team Oriented Positive Attitude Willingness to learn Organized Recognized leader who leads by example You have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies Attention to detail and focus on the task at hand is extremely important. Your interpersonal abilities are robust, allowing you to effectively communicate both upwards to senior management and downwards to diverse audiences. SUMMARY
We are seeking an enthusiastic, effective front line, Production Supervisor to join our Operations team. In this role, the Production Supervisor is accountable for the safety, environmental stewardship, quality & operational performance of their Production Crew. In addition, the production supervisor plays a critical team role in ensuring accurate reporting and smooth transition of our continuous operation production processes and support toward meeting out Plant production goals safely and efficiently. We are seeking applicants who understand that employees make key contributions to developing a pro-safe work environment.
