SUMMARY
We are seeking an enthusiastic, effective front line, Production Supervisor to join our Operations team. In this role, the Production Supervisor is accountable for the safety, environmental stewardship, quality & operational performance of their Production Crew. In addition, the production supervisor plays a critical team role in ensuring accurate reporting and smooth transition of our continuous operation production processes and support toward meeting out Plant production goals safely and efficiently. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure all safety rules and legislation are being practiced.Build relationships and teamwork.Directs hourly personnel and manufacturing operationsProvide technical leadership to shift personnel, to include : line setup / operation, metrics definition / reporting, testing, troubleshooting, and training facilitationMaintain a clean and safe work environment specifically oversees the safety within the production areaDelegate responsibility and recognize, develop, train and utilize talents and capabilities of all shift personnelFacilitate safety training and complete all incident investigations and reportingProduction ReportingRepresents production in company meetingsAny additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Production Superintendent.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a minimum of 5 years of PVC extrusion manufacturing experienceMust have a positive work history with regards to attendance, safety and job performanceStrong interpersonal, communication, administrative and leadership skills are requiredWilling to train the right personDynamic individualProficient with Microsoft office products such as Word & ExcelCOMPETENCIES / ABILITIES
