SUMMARY
We are seeking an enthusiastic, effective front line, Production Supervisor to join our Operations team. In this role, the Production Supervisor is accountable for the safety, environmental stewardship, quality & operational performance of their Production Crew.
In addition, the production supervisor plays a critical team role in ensuring accurate reporting and smooth transition of our continuous operation production processes and support toward meeting out Plant production goals safely and efficiently.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all safety rules and legislation are being practiced.
- Build relationships and teamwork.
- Directs hourly personnel and manufacturing operations
- Provide technical leadership to shift personnel, to include : line setup / operation, metrics definition / reporting, testing, troubleshooting, and training facilitation
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment specifically oversees the safety within the production area
- Delegate responsibility and recognize, develop, train and utilize talents and capabilities of all shift personnel
- Facilitate safety training and complete all incident investigations and reporting
- Production Reporting
- Represents production in company meetings
- Any additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Production Superintendent.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of PVC extrusion manufacturing experience
- Must have a positive work history with regards to attendance, safety and job performance
- Strong interpersonal, communication, administrative and leadership skills are required
- Willing to train the right person
- Dynamic individual
- Proficient with Microsoft office products such as Word & Excel
