The organization is looking for a strong Intermediate Recruiter to support a large projecting up in Vancouver! The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about recruiting, has a solid understanding of how to recruit for engineering / technical roles, and is excited to collaborate with other recruiters and projects across Canada. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, business leaders and candidates, have daily interaction with hiring managers to ensure effective delivery of resources against open vacancies, and deliver an ethical and customer-focused resourcing service.
Manage all aspects of the recruiting process (sourcing, pre-screen interviews, setting up interviews with internal team members, presentation of offers, closing)
Develop and execute cost-effective and creative resourcing strategies that meet the immediate and future needs
Build and maintain a network of potential passive and active candidates through proactive sourcing and networking
Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches and recruiting activities
Work cooperatively with all members of the recruiting team to develop and implement plans and activities
Provide feedback and creative ideas for the recruitment process as the project grows and the team continues to build
What you will need to succeed :
5–7 years of experience in full cycle recruitment, preferably in the engineering, IT or construction space
A Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or related field is considered an asset
Highlyfortable talking to people and has no problem picking up the phone (hunter mentality)
Strong initiative and consistently delivers results of the highest quality; takes accountability for one's work, has a strong sense of urgency, ovees hurdles and ensures that results are delivered
Prior success and experience in managing all recruiting lifecycleponents, including sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, offer negotiation, and closing.
Excellentmunication skills (written and spoken) are required
Strong attention to detail with excellentmunication skills
Collaborative by nature, with the ability to work in a dynamic and growing environment
Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with candidates and with internal team members
Proficient in utilizing an Applicant Tracking System for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
