Direct Sales Representatives are responsible for the marketing and sales of Piovan products to targeted customer base within designated territory, in collaboration with Regional Sales and Key Account Executives.Roles / Responsibilities : Develops and generates sales opportunities through key strategies, targeted sales and outlined departmental goals.Demonstration of key / core Sales responsibilities through generation of leads, providing timely follow-upon prospects, inquiries and complaints, delivering products and demonstrations trainings of equipment.Maintain adequate technical knowledge about company products, services, customer base, competitors, and industry by actively attending Sales meetings and providing timely reports / updates on all accounts weekly within the CRM System.Provides technical and sales training and support for customers.Travels as necessary to achieve the sales goals and plans;Provides consistent feedback regarding product, market and competitive conditions.Maintains quality customer relations by providing exceptional customer service, appropriate business interactions and knowledgeable assistance on technical aspects of each job;Interprets and communicates customer needs timely and works to resolve / clarify any aroused issues.This is covered in our dress code policy handbook not typically embedded in a job description.Qualifications : Strong / demonstrated ability to combine multimedia technology skills with sales and business development skills.Fluency in oral and written communication in English and French required.Must possess valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.Ability to travel 60-90% of time within the territory and occasional travel to the US.Possess or have ability to obtain a Canadian PassportAny technical Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university. A degree can be substituted with 2 years of direct sales experience. Technical experience within industry can be a strong substitute. Technical College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Technology will also be considered.Minimum of 2 years industry experience selling to plastics processing industry required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience selling plastics machinery, equipment and / or plastics raw materials to the plastics processors.Ability to travel 60-90% of time within the territory and occasional travel to the US
