Tasks
- Regularly making sales calls.
- Conducting professional on-site presentations or demonstrations of company products / services.
- Targeting and generating sales from the client base.
- Emphasizing product and service features and benefits, preparing quotes, discussing credit terms, and preparing order forms and / or reports.
- Building and maintaining a network of contacts to create new revenue growth opportunities.
- Generating and developing new client accounts to increase revenue through telemarketing and other new business and territory penetration methods.
- Monitoring calls for tenders, dates, profile information, sources, etc.
- Actively managing call schedule to adequately cover the assigned territory efficiently and promptly.
- Using marketing data in sales management software to maximize sales efficiency.
- Maintaining accurate records, including sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documents.
- Participating in bids for potential clients.
- Attending informational presentations only, such as seminars or professional trade show demonstrations.
- Conducting market condition assessments and informing company account managers and marketing personnel of findings.
- Stay updated on new products and services, and competitor activities.
- Performing any other tasks related to the position.

Job requirements
- Bachelor's or DCS in Business Administration and / or experience in transportation.
- Five years of external sales experience.
- Strong experience in pre-visit planning, call control, account development, and time and territory management.
- Experience with customer relationship management software.
- Knowledge of retail and / or wholesale sales methods, practices, and techniques.
- Ability to perform basic calculations.
- Driver’s licence.
