You're the behind-the-scenes mastermind!

We're looking for an energetic, jovial person with a knack for "making the day" for those he or she comes into contact with through spontaneous attentions. The Conference Porter is a committed and independent participant in the smooth running of events. They are committed to providing prompt, attentive service, whatever the task at hand. Organized and positive, the holder of this multidisciplinary position knows how to be in solution mode to respond effectively to the various demands that occupy his/her day.

Note: This is an on-call, casual opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide high-quality service by working in collaboration with several departments.
• Take part in setting up and dismantling the lunch area and meeting and banquet rooms.
• Serve meals and coffee breaks and assist guests with their luggage, as required.
• Perform various reception, delivery, storage, supply or maintenance tasks.
• Contribute, through your individuality and creativity, to constantly improving the experience of our guests.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• High school diploma or equivalent, an asset
• Experience in restaurant service, an asset
• Good time management and adaptability
• Determination and team spirit
• Good physical fitness: standing for long periods, lifting loads and performing certain repetitive tasks

The hourly rate for this role is the applicable minimum wage of $17.60, in alignment with internal equity.
