Position Overview :

As a Commercial Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing key client relationships at a provincial level. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans, driving revenue growth, and ensuring client satisfaction. This is a dynamic position that requires a blend of strategic thinking, relationship-building skills, and a proactive approach to account management.

Requirements

What you’ll do here :

  • Identify potential clients in the [industry / niche] sector and develop strategies to attract and retain them.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted sales pitches and marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential new market opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Prepare regular sales and pipeline reports to update senior management on business development activities and progress.
  • Stay updated with industry developments and trends to provide strategic insights and recommendations.

What you bring to the table :

  • Must have industry experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.
