Commercial Lending and Real Estate Legal Assisstant

Location : Surrey

Our client is a leading international business law and litigation firm recently voted one of Canada’s Best Employers for 2024. They are recruiting for a Commercial Lending and Real Estate Legal Assisstant . As a Legal Assistant you will contribute to the efficient daytoday operations by providing clerical and administrative support to a lawyer. You will be expected to manage competing priorities with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.

Responsibilities Include :

• Drafting security and supporting / ancillary documents for commercial lending transactions
• Drafting documents for commercial real estate transactions
• Registering documents in the Land Title Office and Personal Property Registry
• Handling the receipt and disbursement of trust funds
• Conducting real estaterelated due diligence searches and reporting
• Maintaining an efficient file management and bringforward system
• Ensuring all physical and electronic filing is organized and uptodate
• Interacting with clients and coordinating meetings
• Delegating tasks to and coordinating with other administrative departments
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation

The typical salary range for this position is $50000 $70000 annually. The base pay offered is based on location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills experience internal and market equity.
