Job Description

Under the supervision of the Security Officers Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for performing security duties on the work premises.

Responsibilities

Controlling entries and exits (visitors, employees, clients)

Patrolling, on foot or by vehicle, the buildings as well as the yard (AIM Montréal and Laval)

Assuring excellent Customer service

Ensuring the protection of evidence in the event of an offense

Protecting the premises in case of an incident

Intervening in case of fires, medical emergencies, bomb threats, floods, water leaks, or the presence of hazardous materials

Writing reports and logs

Crime prevention

Locking and unlocking doors

Conducting searches in case of suspicion

Performing any other related tasks

Qualifications

You are able to work shifts : nights, weekends

You have a high school diploma

You have a valid security guard license issued by the Bureau de la Sécurité Privée

You have valid first aid certification

You have a valid Class 5 driver’s license

You are bilingual, French and English (written and spoken)

You have a clean criminal record

You have the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and rationally

You have excellent judgment, observation, and communication skills

You have completed a first aid course and hold your CPR card

You have good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
