Certified Electrician

We are currently looking to hire a Red Seal Electrician at our Richmond, BC location!

You would do well in this role as an Electrician if you enjoy multi-tasking, troubleshooting and are familiar with PLCs including Siemens S5 & S7, Allen Bradley SLC 500, Micro Logix, Mitsubishi etc.

Shift : Afternoons only at this time 1 : 30pm-10 : 00pm

Monday- Friday

Wage offered : $42 / hour with a $1.50 / hour afternoon shift premium

Responsibilities

• Install, move and modify equipment as required
• Willing to continue to upgrade skills on an ongoing basis.
• Working on multiple projects on 5v to 600v systems
• Assist in the regular maintenance and break down repair of manufacturing equipment
• Perform and help build our preventative maintenance program
• Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics including PLC’s
• Documenting all works carried out through our CMMS system

Qualifications

• Red seal ticketed Electrician
• 5 years post qualification experience is required
• In depth familiarity of PLCs
• Competent in the use of hand and power tools and test equipment
• Current Boom Lift, Scissor Lift, Fall Protection and Fork Lift Tickets preferred
• Must be able to read and adapt drawings
• You are located in the Richmond, BC area!
