Aon is looking for a Financial Risk Consulting Intern in Montreal for Fall 2024!

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and in the office.

What The Day Will Look Like

• Prepare asset-liability studies and asset allocation analyses for our clients (pension plans and other institutional investors);
• Develop liability-driven investment portfolios;
• Participate in the implementation of risk reduction strategies;
• Assist in the simulation of various asset classes using an Economic Scenario Generator;
• Improve and maintain tools associated with various risk management projects;
• Contribute to the research and development of new risk management tools;

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

• Student enrolled in actuarial science, mathematics or similar field;
• Master's degree in Financial Engineering, mathematics or similar is an asset;
• Pursuing SOA or CFA exams is encouraged;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook is required;
• Programming knowledge (VBA, Matlab, R );
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively;
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize under pressure to meet deadlines;
• Bilingual written and spoken (French and English)
