Leadership Development Coordinator
About the Role
The Leadership Development Coordinator leads the LIT 1 and LIT 2 programs, mentoring teens as they develop leadership skills. This includes planning LIT sessions, coordinating expedition trips, and supporting staff mentors.
Key Responsibilities
Spring :
- Assist with LIT selection and hiring
- Update LIT curriculum and build session calendar
- Coordinate expedition trips (routes, bookings, transportation)
- Support staff training
Summer :
Build positive group culture among LIT participantsSupervise “staff mentors” and oversee LIT job placementsDeliver LIT sessions and leadership workshopsProvide logistics support for offsite tripsEvaluate LIT progress using staff and self-reflection feedbackMentor staff and assist with evaluations
