Job Summary

We areseeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (known in theindustry as Project Manager) who is specialized in Petrochemicalsto join our Project Management team (PMT).

This Company ProjectManagement Teams are responsible and accountable for the deliveryof best in class capital projects. PMT is directly involved inexecuting and managing assigned projects safely on schedule withinbudget and to the highest standards of integrity and compliance.

This will involve engineering design procurement and constructionof various sizes ($) types and complexity of small medium tomultibilliondollar mega projects.

Project Management Team managesand executes projects usually from multiple site offices orengineering contractor design offices geographically scatteredthroughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The primary role is to leadand manage a unit with several project engineers and sitesuperintendents in charge of executing capital projects.

Ensurethat engineering design procurement construction and projectcompletion is done in compliance with the project objective andcontractual requirements i.

e. project schedule cost HSE companystandards and procedures. The Sr. Project Engineer role alsoinvolves managing the business aspects of the unit consisting ofbut not limited to HR training cost control schedule controlcybersecurity requirements and manpower planning.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the execution of capital projectsaccording to scope schedule and budget.
• Managethe team within the unit responsible for executing projectsproviding guidance and directives to ensure successful projectcompletion.
• Leverage expertise inPetrochemical projects and provide appropriate actions for the teamto follow in all project phases.
• Providetechnical and project management oversight for the designconstruction precommissioning commissioning startup of facilitiesand project closeout.
• Ensure timely resolutionof project issues throughout all project developmentphases.
• Ensure the implementation of safetymeasures in project execution.
• Implementcompany initiatives in projects and business processes within thedivision.
• Be fully familiar with company KeyPerformance Indicators (KPIs) and achieve them for projects withinthe division.
• Prepare and review monthlyproject performance reports presenting the status of designmaterial procurement construction milestones commitments paymentscharges variances from standards waivers and problems to highermanagement.
• Anticipate and plan for changes inproject scope timing or costs and prepare documentation formanagement approval.
• Assign appropriatemanpower to all parts and phases of the project.
• Ensure that appropriate training and development pathsare assigned to each division employee.
• Oversee and review incoming and outgoing correspondencerelated to assigned projects.
• Ensure properjob records are maintained for all assigned projects.
• Negotiate agreements and change orders with design andexecution contractors.
• Guide and direct teammembers in the application of This Company standards minimizingvariances from standards.
• Take responsibilityfor project development including engineering studies licensorsselection technical bid reviews preliminary engineering detaildesign materials procurement construction precommissioning handovercommissioning startup and project closeout.
• Review weekly and monthly reports on contract statusproject costs and schedule and attend project meetings such asprogress stakeholders design review and valueimprovement.
• Review the project schedulecoordinate and monitor project progress and address belowparperformance of contractors.
• Uphold engineeringethics and maintain high standards of professional behavior andconduct.

Requirements :

• This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
• Hold a Bachelors degreein Engineering from a recognized and approved program. An advanceddegree is preferred.
• Obtain a PMP PgMP orequivalent certification.
• Have fifteen yearsof experience in the project management field related to refiningand petrochemical industries with a specialty inPetrochemicals.
• Have at least seven (7) yearsof experience as a Senior Project Engineer (Sr. PE) or projectmanager in design construction precommissioning commissioningstartup and operation of projects with values ranging from $500million to billion dollars.
• PossessEngineering Design & Construction phase experience with athorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principlesin the applicable International Codes Standards andSpecifications.
• Have a mastery understandingof international procedures of Projects Phases Engineering PhasesBidding procedures Procurement Processes Construction Requirementsand uptodate Best Practices.
• Be familiar withThis Company procedures and standards.
• Have amastery understanding of contract documents (inclusive ofappendices drawings and specifications) project execution planinterface management change management construction sequencingstandards specifications and project schedule to support theDepartment Manager in timely completion of projects.
• Have a mastery understanding of scheduling principles andrecovery methods.
• Possess a masteryunderstanding of cashflow distribution in projects resourceplanning and distribution and an understanding of crisis managementwith the ability to calmly manage project issues.
• Demonstrate a dynamic attitude towards projectimprovements and savings.
• Be flexible to workin multinational teams and mobilize to different locationsincluding remote areas as needed.
