Position Summary :
- Performs routine and specialized CT procedures
- Ability to work with all areas to ensure quality patient focused care
- Assist in the ongoing quality assurance program
- Facilitates work area assignments
- Works in conjunction with other team members and Resource Technologist cooperatively to prioritize, coordinate and integrate workloads
- Coordinate troubleshooting of equipment
- Ensure proper stocking of rooms
- Function with other diagnostic imaging team members to monitor and optimize use of resources
- Support a customer-focused environment
- Other duties as required
Qualifications :
- Candidates must possess current certification in Diagnostic Radiography from a recognized academic institution and the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
- Candidates must be registered with the CMRITO
- Minimum of 1 years related experience in CT
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
- Critical thinking skills and ability to work independently
- Demonstrated ability to stay current within the profession
- Preference will be given to candidates with hospital experience
- Satisfactory attendance and performance record required
- Preference will be given to technologists who have successfully completed the Computed Tomography Imaging Certification (CTIC)
