We are seeking a flexible, enthusiastic and customer service-oriented professional to fill the role of receptionist for our downtown Investment Management client on a contract basis for 12 to 16 months.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and directing customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Entering and tracking building maintenance requests
  • Assist with expense reports
  • Booking meeting rooms, filing and copying / scanning
  • Maintaining inventory of office supplies and ordering accordingly
  • Care taking of lobby area, receptionist desk
  • Other administrative duties as required

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience in a professional office environment
  • Exceptional communication skills; in-person and over the phone
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience operating a multi-line phone system
  • Self-motivated and able to work well independently
  • Able to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a professional composure
  • Polished and professional in presentation
