Jump Recruitment, on behalf of our client, The Carpet Factory ,has an excellent opportunity for an outstanding Operations Manager to join the team, in a growing flooring company in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations and staff, defining project scopes and fostering a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities include but not limited to :
- Manage compliance with all workplace Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.
- Manage daily installation schedule.
- Process work order and labor ticket paperwork daily.
- Collaborate with sales, installation teams, and customers to define project scope (could include measuring jobs) and objectives.
- Provide timely updates on project progress, addressing any concerns or inquiries.
- Coordinate with installation crews, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct inspections to ensure flooring installations meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Address any issues or defects promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with sales and installation teams to optimize project workflows.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Execute other tasks on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications :
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry trends will be a benefit.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- 2+ years of management experience.
- Sense of urgency.
- Strong multi-tasking skills.
