About the Role :
Reporting to the Vice-President of Operations, for a 1 (one) Year contract, the Business Operations Manager will lead operational excellence across the organization, promote data-driven decision-making, solve complex business problems and contribute to system and infrastructure enhancement.
The successful candidate will focus on improving internal reporting of status and results, enhance information sharing systems and channels across the organization, and will focus on ensuring business processes are optimized to get the right information to the right people at the right time.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Support cross-functional special projects and strategic initiatives to streamline operations and increase efficiency across the organization.
- Evaluate current processes and workflows, identify bottlenecks, propose solutions to streamline operations and lead implementation of approved solutions.
- Optimize the use of internal systems, driving efficiencies in both business processes and internal reporting.
- Assist in the evaluation of IT system and infrastructure enhancements and IT roadmap execution.
- Enhance systems, processes and practices to improve internal reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Gather KPI data and data-driven insights about our business, projects and programs, and prepare reports and insights for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Optimize our knowledge management systems, ensuring information is being stored and shared effectively.
- Create, maintain and enhance internal business process documentation.
- Build strong internal relationships to ensure successful execution of operational enhancement.
What you Bring :
The Business Operations Manager is passionate about improving systems, processes and practices to enhance data-driven insights, internal reporting, and supporting key decision-making.
Ideal Additional Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a continuous improvement environment.
- Experience working with Salesforce, and Microsoft Office products including Sharepoint, Teams, Power BI, and other applications that support business automation and operational excellence.
- A track record of driving operational excellence, efficiencies and improvements to business processes.
- Experience in enhancing systems to drive improved reporting and results.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and a deep understanding of operational business processes.
- A proven agile, innovative and strategic thinker, and a self-starter.
