The Role :
Reporting to the Managing Director Canada and the International NDT Manager, you will be responsible for covering the following areas :
Preparing business plans to achieve annual budgets for NDT Services
Implementing best practices, training, leadership development, resource support and allocation in conjunction with HR and Safety.
Executing a plan to improve margins, implement cross training, resource utilization, project management and budget planning
Ensuring systems and processes are in place to drive safety and environmental performance
Overseeing a team, delivering customer’s best practices including auditing of records and informal participation in employee qualification process.
Supporting the sales team ( matrix organization structure) by increasing revenue in the NDT business and developing win / win solutions for opportunities to maximize customer value and company’s financial success.
Working with managers, providing technical and operational leadership and guidance to group and problem solving
The Requirements :
University degree in Business Management, Engineering or a related field
7 10 years of experience in operations / management with direct reports, financial and operational responsibilities.
Proven time management, leadership, coaching and budgeting skills
NDT exposure a plus
Some travel will be expected
Proficiency in French
