Data Analyst provides expertisein data collection data science data management system integrationdata fabric and supporting the development of data policies andgovernance standards to further the business outcomes of theorganization s DataProgram.
Responsibilities
- Createsplans and strategies that will identify the various linkagesbetween new and existing data forms resulting in the integration ofdata models development of data policies and presentation ofstatistical analysis and data visualizations to help understand andimprove service delivery online and offline.
- Supportsthe implementation of the data platforms (ex. Microsoft Fabricsnowflake dataverse databricks) and the integration of systems andapplications to the fabric.
- Supportsgovernance based on the service data model service analyticsstandards and the development of analytics tools inclusive of bothdigital and nondigital service implementation.
- Works toimplement develop and share service metrics and service performancedashboards for internal and public use.
- Facilitatesand informs program area workshops about current data andperformance practices. a. Troubleshooting issues related to datamodels platforms cloud services reporting ETL activities (ExtractTransform Load).
- Mentorsteam members and others to develop and grow their analyticsfluency.
- Researchesbest practices and makes recommendations for the direction ofdatadriven governance policies to support the adoption of digitalservices and service delivery information management.
- Createsdata statistical analysis and data visualizations leveraging dataquerying languages within available data management technologies.
- Supportscorporate priorities based upon datadriven evidence by leveragingexisting and new analytics data visualizations data modeling andstorytelling.

Qualifications
- Applicableunderstanding of the data fabric concept and how it can beleveraged to satisfy needs for dashboards reporting andintelligence
- Experience with data hosting platforms and tools for efficient datastorage and retrieval
- Proficientin database systems a. Technical expertise in data platforms andintegration tools : Microsoft Fabric Snowflake Dataverse Databricks
- Fluent inprogramming languages : Python SQL
- Thoroughexperience with cloud platforms for data processing management andreporting Experience designing and managing data infrastructure forstructured and unstructured data
- Extensiveexperience in solving data challenges and business problems throughtechnology and change management
- Experiencein developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders tounderstand requirements resolve conflicts and sharing informationExperience with using data visualization tools (ex.
PowerBI Tableauetc.) to convey information and insights to nontechnical staff
- Experienceleading data science and analytics initiatives and workshops
- Excellentwritten presentation and verbal communication skills
- Experiencecollaborating with stakeholders to identify business requirementsand translating them into effective data solutions
- Experienceworking with crossfunctional teams in a public sector organization
