The Opportunity :
The Service Coordinator partners with Dispatch and Service personnel regarding all service-related areas to ensure smooth operation of the service department.
Responsibilities :
Service Coordination / Dispatch :
- Schedules in-field service work for residential and commercial customers
- Communicates with service team daily on workorder details, customer details and locations
- Creates and schedules workorders for regulatory and billable work using both internal and third party resources
- Coordinates with Dispatch for driver availability and tank evacs
- Coordinates and schedules technical and safety training
Customer Service :
- Resolves complaints from customers, Service team, and / or Dispatchers
- Works with management to resolve challenges with and for customers
- Liaises with vendors regarding equipment pricing, availability, and delivery to ensure proper supply of equipment.
- Gather information from vendors and verify it aligns with branch parameters, would get approval before proceeding.
Tracking / Reporting :
- Schedules and Maintains asset inventory
- Provide reports for asset and revenue control
- Confirming pricing on quotes and service billing
- Maintains customer accounts with current billing and asset information
- Completes Equipment Rental Agreements with new and existing customers
Requirements :
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or related field is considered an asset
- Experience with dispatching in a fast paced, ever-changing environment is an asset
- Previous industry experience and strong propane product knowledge is an asset
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc)
- Demonstrated ability to manage difficult customer escalations and interactions
- Strong organizational, listening, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think on your feet and make sound business decisions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to gather and share information in a detailed and concise manner
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple demands and competing priorities
- Proven analytical skills and the ability to compile and present information
- Ability to respond positively to change and maintain flexibility
- Team player with a positive get-it-done attitude
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel infrequently as needed
