Your Role :

We are currently seeking a Junior Civil Engineer for our Pickering, ON office. This posting is for an existing vacancy for which we are actively recruiting. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required by the position. Responsibilities :

• Participate in preparing civil designs, including calculations, construction details and drawings, for stormwater systems, site layout and grading.
• Design work will be executed in a 3D environment utilizing state of the art 3D modelling software to simulate as‑found field topography as well as final grading design to demonstrate poste development conditions.
• Ability to perform design, including preparation of calculations, material lists, drawings, technical and construction specifications.
• Reports to department manager and assists in preparation of design estimates, construction costs and proposal submissions.
• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications.
