Part-Time Casual General Labourers

Adecco is currently hiring Part-Time Casual General Labourers for our client in Brampton, ON. This role is ideal for dependable and detail-oriented individuals looking for flexible work to help cover employee absences, vacations, and illness-related leaves.

• Pay Rate: $20.02/hour

• Location: Brampton, ON

• Shift: 12-hour shifts

• Job type: Part-Time Casual (On-Call)

Responsibilities:

• Package products according to specific packaging instructions and quality standards

• Inspect materials for defects and report any quality concerns to the Packaging Team Leader

• Pack materials based on shipping priorities and work order requirements

• Check and document product hardness according to order specifications

• Verify order weights and piece counts for accuracy

• Complete required production, packaging, and order documentation

• Print bundle tickets and labels using the EPICS system

• Follow all quality policies, procedures, and system requirements

• Use hand tools such as staple guns and nail guns to build skids and prepare shipments

• Provide support and guidance to new team members as required

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and Occupational Health & Safety regulations

• Perform other general labour duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehousing, packaging, or general labour role

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred

• Experience in extrusion or a similar manufacturing environment is considered an asset

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Knowledge of health and safety practices within a manufacturing environment

• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with work assignments

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift

• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs as required

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
