Upper School Biology & Science Teacher

What You’ll Be Doing :

• Teaching Grade 10 Science and Grade 11 Biology
• Preparing, developing and implementing engaging lessons plans for students consistent with the Ministry of Education curriculum;
• Using a variety of teaching and support strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students;
• Incorporating a variety of visual aids, creative projects and technology to gain and enhance student involvement;
• Evaluating each student’s learning, understanding and performance through class work, assignments and tests;
• Fostering healthy relationships with students and faculty to create an enriched learning environment;
• Maintaining effective communication with students, parents and faculty;
• Completing required record keeping such as student attendance, grades and report cards;
• Participating in extra-curricular coaching, co-curricular and supervision responsibilities.
