Go Industries is looking for an experienced G2 Gas Technician who is ready to take the lead in the field.

This opportunity is for a skilled HVAC professional who takes pride in doing the job properly, can confidently diagnose and solve problems, and understands the importance of providing customers with an outstanding experience.

You will work on a wide range of residential and light-commercial HVAC systems while taking ownership of service calls, installations, commissioning and field decisions. You will also have the opportunity to provide guidance to apprentices and developing technicians.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Diagnose, service and repair residential and light-commercial HVAC systems.
• Install and commission furnaces, boilers, air conditioners and heat pumps.
• Install and service tankless and conventional water heaters.
• Work with ductless and multi-zone systems.
• Diagnose and repair gas-fired appliances.
• Perform maintenance, combustion testing and equipment inspections.
• Identify safety concerns and explain recommended solutions clearly.
• Lead installations and help guide apprentices or junior technicians.
• Verify that installations meet company standards before completion.
• Complete accurate service notes, equipment records and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers throughout each appointment.
• Coordinate with office and field teams to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation.
• Represent Go Industries professionally at every job.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Ontario G2 Gas Technician certificate.
• Strong HVAC service and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience installing and commissioning HVAC equipment.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and manufacturer documentation.
• Confidence working independently and making informed field decisions.
• High standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Professional, respectful and customer-focused communication.
• Ability to organize jobs, materials and documentation.
• Valid Ontario driver’s licence.
• Clean driver’s abstract.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

A 313D or 313A refrigeration and air-conditioning certificate, ODP card, G1 certificate, sheet-metal experience, hydronics experience or manufacturer training would be considered a strong asset.
