Responsibilities :
- Mostly insurance restoration repairs.
- Read blueprints and designs.
- Use a lift to place ceiling panels.
- Prepare panels by sawing, drilling, or cutting holes in panels for electrical outlets, air-conditioning units, and plumbing.
- Measure, cut, fit, and fasten panels.
- Fasten drywall to walls or ceilings, and fasten drywall panels to the inside framework of a building.
- Use trowels to spread the compound, apply paper tape, smoothing away excess material.
- Cover nail and screw depressions with compound, apply second and third coats of compound, and sand areas after each coat.
Skills Requirements :
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must keep work area clean.
- Follow instructions.
- Work well within a team.
- Have a current BC driver's license, a clean driver's abstract, and a reliable vehicle
