Quarry Worker
In this role, you will be tasked with miscellaneous labour and maintenance work. You will work at different locations around the city of Ottawa, so reliable transportation is required as most locations are not accessible by public transportation.
Hours of work are typically between 10-12 hours.
Traffic Controller
In this role, you would direct and control traffic safely in and through the work zone. Other duties may include directing heavy equipment when working in close proximity of traffic and other hazards and obstructions.
Will need to communicate and interact with the public in a courteous and professional manner. You will work a 50 hour work week, 10 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
You will be outside all the times in all weather, standing for the full shift. Reliable transportation is required as most locations are not accessible by public transportation.
IT Help Desk / Support Technician
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for user inquiries. It will involve resolving technical support issues remotely and onsite, diagnosing and repairing hardware problems, configuring and testing equipment, performing preventative maintenance, installing upgrades, printer support, and deploying and troubleshooting mobile devices.
Since you will be traveling to various site locations, a G class drivers' license is required. There are shared vehicles to book if needed.
Typical working hours at 7 : 30am-4 : 30pm.
Sustainability Analyst
In this role, you will assist with calculations to determine the carbon footprint of various services, calculate carbon credits generated through changes to operations, review Federal and Provincial carbon credit programs, evaluate enhanced recycling process, and much more depending on your motivation to learn! Since you will be traveling to various site locations, a G class drivers' license is required.
There are shared vehicles to book if needed. Typical working hours at 7 : 30am-4 : 30pm.
