Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for a Service Roofing Superintendent to support our Vancouver Branch located in Surrey, BC (Office Location 19175 22 Ave, Surrey BC, V3S 3S6), reporting to the Service Manager.
A Day in the Life
In-Office Project Support :
Ensure that all revisions / change orders are properly documented and accounted forDaily review with Service Manager on project and billing progressEnsure all proper relevant paperwork is reviewed and given to the foremenCompletion of various reports, including Service Request / Field Report and work order Dispatch calls to field technicians, providing all necessary job information prior to their arrival on siteMust take all service and leak calls and maintain on-call status 24 hours per day, 7 days a week Build relationships and maintain close contact with customers during project activity
Field Crew Support :
Compliance to regional Health and Safety requirements and Flynn policiesMonitor quality, safety, and training requirements through regular visits to project sitesOrder and manage Service Inventory, material best practices, and safety equipment distributionDaily review of project progress with the foremen and review of field reportsScheduling, alignment, and time management of field crewsIdentification, training and coaching future Foreman and SuperintendentsEnsure CVOR compliance (Ontario Only)

What We Are Seeking
- 1-3 years experience in a Construction environment; Service Roofing experience is considered an asset
- Display excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Form and maintain customer relations; in person, through email, and over the phone
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, stay organized, and perform in a deadline-oriented environment
- Reliable and strong problem-solving skills
- Work independently as well as in a team-based environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment and strong attention to detail
