The Worley Consulting team is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to support the Environmental Studies group. This position is remote but will be required to travel to the Vancouver office for client and / or business meetings.

Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for supporting a major client portfolio - approximately $10M / year.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining positive and effective client relationships.
  • To lead an integrated multi-disciplinary team of Worley personnel for the supply of Environmental services in accordance with agreed business requirements.
  • Analysis of wildlife, fisheries, and water sampling data from engineering and field environmental teams.
  • To provide strong HSE leadership.
  • To ensure clear agreement of client objectives, and that these are met or exceeded.
  • Establish consistent operations and work execution for the client.
  • To achieve or better the budgeted gross margin using continuous improvement principles, as well as strive to grow the project portfolio on a long-term basis.
  • To apply consistent operational metrics and management practices within the client team.
  • Support the implementation and execution of all work according to the project / contract requirements
  • Travel as required to Vancouver office for client / business meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Science, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
  • Ten (10) years of project management experience in environmental consulting, including minimum of five (5) years working as a Project Manager
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a professional in Canada or PMP designation
  • Experience in mid to large scale projects
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated environmental project management experience in the province of British Columbia is preferred

For applicants based in the province of British Columbia, the salary range is $117,581 to $172,913.
