We pride ourselves on innovation, quality, and a team-oriented approach. We’re looking for a versatile and motivated individual to take on the dual role of Mechanic / Fabricator and Shop Attendant.
Job Overview :
This is a blended role combining mechanical and fabrication work with shop maintenance and organization. You will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and modification of various tools, equipment, and vehicles, while also managing the day-to-day organization and operations of the shop.
If you enjoy working with your hands, keeping things in order, and taking on challenges, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform maintenance and repairs on small equipment, trucks, trailers, and specialized machinery.
- Assist in fabricating parts, modifying equipment, and light welding tasks as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and inventory of the warehouse and shop.
- Prepare and set up work trucks for daily jobs, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
- Operate forklifts, bobcats, and other machinery for shop operations.
- Support with minor mechanical issues on-site and in-shop, including troubleshooting and part replacements.
- Drive company vehicles when needed (valid driver’s license required).
Qualifications :
- Mechanical / fabrication experience, including maintenance and welding / fabrication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Experience operating a bobcat, forklift, and other heavy machinery (certifications an asset).
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license (Class 5 or higher).
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
