Compensation : $65000.00 to $80000.00 yearly

The Financial Analyst is responsible for the preparation of month-end statements and reports, assists the Senior Business Analysts with month-end variance analysis, process month-end entries, prepare bank reconciliations, investment reporting and other balance sheet analyses, as well as other ad hoc analyses as required. This role will also support the various external reporting, including but not limited to MIS trial balance submission and BPSAA compliance.

Job Requirements :

• Undergraduate degree, B.A., B. Comm. or Business Administration Diploma majoring in Accounting
• Actively enrolled in recognized accounting designation program (CPA CA, CPA CMA, CPA CGA or recognized equivalent)
• Knowledge of MIS Guideline and Ontario Healthcare Reporting System
• Working knowledge of CPA Canada Standards and Guidance
• Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures and internal control processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with expert knowledge of Excel
• Ability to prioritize, coordinate and perform a wide range of duties necessary to the efficient functioning of the Finance department
• Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision
• Effective written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills – ability to interact with all levels of personnel
