Job descriptionProficient in MIG (Push-Pull) welding, pulse experience preferred; 2-3 years previous experience in welding and fabrication of aluminum products; Ability to safely operate saws, grinders, drills, and other power tools; High attention to detail is required in order to achieve quality standards; Ability to read blue prints / drawings and understand work order specifications preferred but not required. Understanding and ability to maintain a safe work environment; Ability to work independently or with others to achieve a common goal; Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter – follow direction with minimal supervision; Willing and open to learn each day; Show pride in work on a daily basis; Effective communication skills; Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment. Year-round, full-time permanent work; Year-round indoor working conditions; Working alongside a great team of talented individuals; Building a world-class product; Opportunity for advancement; Family owned company; Fun work events (Christmas Party, BBQ, etc.); Compensation range based on experience; $30.00- 36.00 hr. Higher pay range for experienced aluminum boat builders. Every Friday is a day off , Day shift ; Extended Benefits Coverage; Employee Assistant Programs; Employee Purchase Discount on Marine materials; Boating Experiences. 18+ years of age and legally authorized to work in Canada Regular periods during which there is continuous physical effort is required, e.g., walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward; Exposure to factors such as temperature variations, fumes, moving machinery, humidity, toxic materials which may cause periods of discomfort, high noise levels; Frequent need to give concentrated attention, either hearing or seeing to work being performed; Noticeable pressure from deadlines, accuracy or similar demands exists.

Job Description
Multiple openings due to company expansion
What will you do?
- MIG aluminum welding and hull / vessel construction;
- Fabrication includes fitting of pre-cut parts;
- Preparation of components for welding ;
- Sub-assembly of parts including welding;
- Ensure work area is kept clean and organized to reduce or remove hazards;
- Follow all applicable Eaglecraft Boats and WorkSafeBC Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
